WEATHER RELATED ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR Monday, April 22:

……………………………………………………………………………………………..

Spring is here.  Let’s enjoy the weather!  Each morning before school, students will be waiting outside the building until the bell rings at 7:42 am.  Only those students that need to eat breakfast will be allowed inside the building.

……………………………………………………………………………………………..

Attention all 6th graders interested in playing football next year for Harding.  The first informational meeting will be Thursday at 2:35 in the auditorium.  Expectations will be handed out and next year’s season will be discussed.  Make sure to attend if you plan on playing for the Chargers next year.

……………………………………………………………………………………………..

Our fundraising event of the year is upon us. Kids versus Cops dodgeball will be held this Friday and the Cedar Rapids Police Department WANTS YOU!  They are hungry for a win against the Harding students so get your team together today!  Team rosters are ready and waiting for you in the Student Info Center.  Complete your roster, collect $3.00 from each team member and turn it in to Mr. Franta or Mr. Cushman as soon as possible. Will you accept this challenge?  Bring it, Chargers!

CHEER ON THOSE HARDING CHARGERS!

The strong and cold north wind last Thursday did not weaken the will of the girls tennis team.  A lesser team would have complained and made excuses, instead we persevered in a businesslike manner as we dominated the Regis Royals. Winners in singles were Anastasia Byondo, Emma Munson, Emma Krousie, Julia Smith and Tyra Jackson. Winners in doubles were Emma Krousie/Emma Munson, Julia Smith/Tyra Jackson, Maci Enos/ Chelsea Moore, Aruna Magar/Sami Thapa, Nikki Spore/ Kaiya Baumgartner and Samantha Tanner/ Karen Garcia.  Stay GOLDEN girls…..
